Additional information about this, The Beat vinyl art.

The Beat – The Artist

The Beat (known in the United States and Canada as the English Beat and in Australia as the British Beat) are a band founded in Birmingham, England, in 1978. Its music fuses Latin, ska, pop, soul, reggae and punk rock. The Beat, consisting of Dave Wakeling (vocals, guitar), Ranking Roger (vocals), Andy Cox (guitar), David Steele (bass), Everett Morton (drums), and Saxa a.k.a. Lionel Augustus Martin (saxophone), released three studio albums in the early 1980s and a string of singles, including “Tears of a Clown”, “Mirror in the Bathroom”, “Save It for Later”, “Too Nice to Talk To”, “Can’t Get Used to Losing You”, “Hands Off, She’s Mine”, and “All Out to Get You”.

Mirror In The Bathroom – The Song

‘Mirror In The Bathroom’ is a single by British ska band The Beat released as a single in 1980 from their debut album ‘I Just Can’t Stop It’ (also released in 1980). It reached number 4 in the UK Singles Chart and consequently was their highest charting release in the UK until 1983.

A Rubber Duck – The Shape

Modelled into a silhouette of a toy rubber duck.  A rubber duck is a toy shaped like a stylised duck, generally yellow with a flat base. It may be made of rubber or rubber-like material such as vinyl plastic. The yellow rubber duck has achieved an iconic status in Western pop culture and is often symbolically linked to bathing. Sculptor Peter Ganine created a sculpture of a duck in the 1940s. He then patented it and reproduced it as a floating toy, of which over 50 million were sold..
