Additional information about this, Gerry Rafferty vinyl art.

Gerry Rafferty – The Artist

Gerald Rafferty (1947 – 2011) was a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was born into a working-class family in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. His mother taught him both Irish and Scottish folk songs as a boy; later, he was influenced by the music of The Beatles and Bob Dylan. He joined the folk-pop group The Humblebums in 1969. After they disbanded in 1971, he recorded his first solo album, Can I Have My Money Back? Rafferty and Joe Egan formed the group Stealers Wheel in 1972 and produced several hits, most notably “Stuck in the Middle with You” and “Star”.

Night Owl – The Song

Night Owl is a song by Gerry Rafferty. It is the second track on his 1979 album of the same name. It features a Lyricon (electronic wind instrument) solo played by “Baker Street” saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft. The song made the top five in the UK Singles Chart, and along with “Baker Street” is one of two solo efforts by Gerry Rafferty to accomplish this feat.

The Owl – The Shape

Owls are birds from the order Strigiformes, which includes about 200 species of mostly solitary and nocturnal birds of prey typified by an upright stance, a large, broad head, binocular vision, binaural hearing, sharp talons, and feathers adapted for silent flight. Owls hunt mostly small mammals, insects, and other birds. They are found in all regions of the Earth except polar ice caps and some remote islands. Owls are divided into two families: the true (or typical) owl family, Strigidae, and the barn-owl family, Tytonidae. Night Owl is also an expression for a person who habitually stays up late and is active at night
