An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the Jimi Hendrix Experience from 1968, All Along The Watchtower. Released on the Track record label, this psychedelic rock classic has been reworked into a watchtower styled chess peice.
All Along the Watchtower was originally written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. Covered by numerous artists in various genres . All Along the Watchtower is strongly identified with this interpretation, Jimi Hendrix recorded for Electric Ladyland with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. This Hendrix version, released six months after Dylan’s original recording, became a massive hit and considered by many as one of the best records of all time.
