Additional information about this, Eric Clapton vinyl art.

Eric Clapton – The Artist

Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 1945) is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and of Cream. Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. In his solo career, Clapton has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

Behind The Mask – The Song

“Behind The Mask  recorded by Eric Clapton is his cover version, with lyrics, of the instrumental composed by Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto.  It was originally written for a 1978 Seiko commercial. One year later, a rerecorded version by his band Yellow Magic Orchestra was released in 1979 as part of their album Solid State Survivor, with English lyrics added by Chris Mosdell. The song has been performed by several artists since its original release. In the early 1980s, Michael Jackson wrote additional lyrics for the song with an accompanying melody; this version has been recorded by himself, Greg Phillinganes, Eric Clapton, and Ryuichi Sakamoto (as a solo artist), among others.

The Surgical Mask – The Shape

This record has been modelled into the silhouette of a emoji wearing a surgical mask while self-isolating. Self isolating is a term that is used when someone voluntarily stays within their home to protect the general public from their possible exposure of a contagious disease to avoid spreading it to healthy individuals without that contagious disease. A surgical mask, also known as a procedure mask, medical mask or simply as a face mask, is intended to be worn by health professionals during surgery and during nursing to catch the bacteria shed in liquid droplets and aerosols from the wearer’s mouth and nose. They are not designed to protect the wearer from inhaling airborne bacteria or virus particles and are less effective than respirators, which provide better protection due to their material, shape and tight seal. There use has become common, initially in China during the 2019–20 coronavirus outbreak but now throughout the world.

Emoji are ideograms and smileys used in electronic messages and web pages. Emoji exist in various genres, including facial expressions, common objects, places and types of weather, and animals. They are much like emoticons, but emoji are pictures rather than typographic approximations; the term “emoji” in the strict sense refers to such pictures which can be represented as encoded characters, but it is sometimes applied to messaging stickers by extension. Originally meaning pictograph, the word emoji comes from the Japanese words for “picture”and “character”. Originating on Japanese mobile phones in 1997, emoji became increasingly popular worldwide in the 2010s after being added to several mobile operating systems. They are now considered to be a large part of popular culture in the West.
