Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen (1975)

£54.95

An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the song by British rock band, Queen from 1975, Bohemian Rhapsody. The record was released on the EMI record label, in the UK, and has been reworked into the shape of the distinctive Queen’s crown as seen on their many albums and promotional material.

Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie Mercury for the band’s 1975 album A Night at the Opera. It is a six-minute suite, consisting of several sections without a chorus: an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part and a reflective coda. It was reportedly the most expensive single ever made at the time of its release. Although critical reaction was initially mixed, Bohemian Rhapsody remains one of Queen’s most popular songs and is frequently placed on lists of the greatest songs of all time.
