Call Me was the main theme song of the 1980 romantic crime film, American Gigolo starring Richard Gere. It was written by Italian Disco producer, Giorgio Moroder and Debbie Harry. The lyrics were written from the perspective of the main character in the film, a male prostitute. The song was a popular throughout the world and Blondies most successful single.
