Andy Williams – The Artist

Andy Williams (1927 –  2012) is an American Singer and TV host. He hosted the Andy Williams Show from 1962 to 1971, and numerous TV specials. He recorded 43 albums and sold more than 100 million records worldwide during his career. He is probably best known for his songs, Moon River and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You which has become a popular song played at weddings and at anniversaries.

Can’t Take My Eyes Off You – The Song

Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by  Andy Williams is a cover version of a song  originally co-written by B. Crewe and Bob Gaudio of Frankie Valli fame. It has become popular all over the world . The song is a staple of television and film soundtracks, even being featured as part of the plot of some films, such as when the lead characters sing or arrange their own version of the song. It’s chorus has also become a popular football chant, with supporters of various teams inserting their club’s name or a popular player’s name into the beat.
