He has had four UK No. 1 singles, one of which was “Especially for You”, his 1988 duet with fellow Neighbours co-star Kylie Minogue. He has also appeared in several stage musicals, most prominently in the lead role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the early 1990s.

Kylie Minogue, AO, OBE (born 1968), is an Australian singer, songwriter and actress. Throughout her career, Minogue has been known for reinventing herself in fashion and music. She is described as a style icon and is known as the “Princess of Pop”. Minogue is also recognised as the highest-selling female Australian artist of all time. Born and raised in Melbourne, she has worked and lived in the United Kingdom since the 1990s. Minogue achieved recognition starring in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, where she played tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. She came to prominence as a recording artist in the late 1980s and released four pop and dance studio albums produced by Stock Aitken Waterman and released by PWL. By the time she released her fourth album in the early 1990s, she had amassed several top ten singles in the UK and Australia, including “I Should Be So Lucky”, “The Loco-Motion”, “Hand on Your Heart”, “Better the Devil You Know” and “Step Back in Time”.

Especially For You – The Song

Especially For You is a song performed by the Australian recording artists Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, from Donovan’s debut album Ten Good Reasons (1989). The song was released as his album’s second single on 28 November 1988 and was written and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. “Especially for You” received many positive reviews from older and contemporary critics, who deemed it one of the strongest of each singer’s album, but also dubbed the song a classic. The song had commercial success, reaching number one in the UK, Ireland, Greece and Belgium and peaking inside the Top 5 in countries including Australia, New Zealand, France, Finland and Switzerland. In 2015 the song was voted by the British public as the nation’s 20th favourite 1980s number one in a poll for ITV. Kylie Minogue also performed this song as a duet with Kermit the Frog on the show An Audience with… Kylie Minogue in 2001

The Heart – The Shape

This record has been modelled into the silhouette of Kermit the frog a character from the TV show The Muppets. The Muppet Show is a comedy television series created by Jim Henson and featuring the Muppets. The show ran for five seasons, totalling 120 episodes, from 1976 to 1981. The programme was taped at Elstree Studios, England. The Muppet Show is presented as a variety show, featuring recurring sketches and musical numbers interspersed with plot-lines taking place backstage and in other areas of the venue. Within its context, Kermit the Frog acts as show-runner and host, who tries to maintain control of the overwhelming antics of the other Muppet characters, as well as appease the rotating slate of guest stars. The Muppet Show is also known for its uniquely designed characters, burlesque nature, physical slapstick, sometimes absurdist humour, and parodies. As The Muppet Show became popular, many celebrities were eager to perform with the Muppets on television and in subsequent films.
