An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the song by British rock band, Queen from 1984, I Want To Break Free. The record was released on the EMI record label, in the UK, and has been reworked into the shape of frontman,  Freddie Mercury in the wig as worn on the video in which all the band members wore womens clothing.

Written by bass guitarist John Deacon, I Want to Break Free is largely known for its music video for which all the band members dressed in drag, which parodied the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Despite being considered controversial the single of the song was well received all over Europe and South America, where it was regarded as an anthem of fight against oppression.
