Stephen Tintin Duffy – The Artist

Stephen Anthony James Duffy (Born 1960) is an English musician, singer and songwriter. He was a founding member, vocalist, bassist and then drummer of Duran Duran. He went on to record as a solo performer under several different names, and is the singer and songwriter for The Lilac Time with his older brother Nick. He has also co-written with Robbie Williams and Steven Page. Probably best known for his songs, ‘Kiss Me’ and Icing On The Cake.’

The Cupcake – The Shape

This record has been modelled into the the silhouette of an iced cupcake with a heart replacing the more usual cherry. The cherry was inspired by the songs chorus  “You are the icing on the cake. The party on the street. The love you cannot fake. The truth you cannot cheat.” A cupcake (also British English: fairy cake) is a small cake designed to serve one person, which may be baked in a small thin paper or aluminium cup. As with larger cakes, icing and other cake decorations such as fruit and sweets, such as sprinkles or hundreds and thousands may be applied.
