Bryan Guy Adams CC OBC (born 1959) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, and photographer. He is estimated to have sold between 75 million and more than 100 million records and singles worldwide, placing him on the list of best-selling music artists. Adams was the most played artist on Canadian radio in the 2010s and has had 25 top-15 singles in Canada and over a dozen in the US, UK, and Australia. At age 20 his eponymous debut album was released. He rose to fame in North America with the 1983 top ten album Cuts Like a Knife, featuring its title track and the ballad “Straight From the Heart”, his first US top ten hit, which he wrote at age 18. His 1984 Canadian and US number one album, Reckless became the first album by a Canadian to be certified diamond in Canada and made him a global star with six charting singles including “Run to You” and “Summer of ’69”, both top ten hits in the US and Canada, and the power ballad “Heaven”, a US number one hit.

Tina Turner (1939 – 2023) is an American-born Swiss singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress. Turner rose to international prominence as a featured singer with Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm before recording hit singles both with Ike and as a solo performer. One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, she has been referred to as The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll and has sold more than 200 million records worldwide to date. She is noted for her energetic stage presence, powerful vocals, and career longevity.

It’s Only Love – The Song

“It’s Only Love” is a song by Canadian singer and songwriter Bryan Adams, featuring American singer Tina Turner. Released as a single on October 25, 1985, the song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and the accompanying video won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Stage Performance. It was the sixth and final single from Adams’ album Reckless (1984) and was included on Tina Turner’s live album Tina Live in Europe (1988), as well as being added to both artists’ greatest hits compilations: Adams’ Anthology (2005) and Turner’s All the Best (2004).
