Additional information about this, Freddie Starr vinyl art.

Freddie Starr – The Artists

Freddie Starr (1943 – 2019) was an English comedian, impressionist, singer and actor. Starr was the lead singer of Merseybeat pop group the Midniters[nb 1] during the early 1960s, and came to prominence in the early 1970s after appearing on Opportunity Knocks and the Royal Variety Performance. Freddie Starr had a chart album titled “After the Laughter” and a UK Top 10 single, “It’s You”, in March 1974. Freddie Starr was the subject of one of the best known British tabloid newspaper headlines. On 13 March 1986 The Sun carried as its main headline: “Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster”. According to the text of the story, Starr had been staying at the home of Vince McCaffrey and his 23-year-old girlfriend Lea La Salle in Birchwood, Cheshire, when the alleged incident took place. Starr was claimed to have returned home from a performance at a Manchester nightclub in the early hours of the morning and demanded that La Salle make him a sandwich. When she refused, he went into the kitchen and put her pet hamster Supersonic between two slices of bread and proceeded to eat it.

It’s You – The Song

It’s You is a song by English Comedian and singer Freddie Starr.  It was written by L.Butler and was a UK top ten single in 1974.

The Hamster – The Shape

Modelled into the shape of a Hamsters head. Hamsters are rodents belonging to the subfamily Cricetinae, they have become established as popular small house pets. The best-known species of hamster is the golden or Syrian hamster, which is the type most commonly kept as pets. Other hamster species commonly kept as pets are the three species of dwarf hamster, Campbell’s dwarf hamster, the winter white dwarf hamster and the Roborovski hamster. Hamsters are more crepuscular than nocturnal and, in the wild, remain underground during the day to avoid being caught by predators. They feed primarily on seeds, fruits, and vegetation, and will occasionally eat burrowing insects. Physically, they are stout-bodied with distinguishing features that include elongated cheek pouches extending to their shoulders, which they use to carry food back to their burrows, as well as a short tail and fur-covered feet.
