Additional information about this, Big Country vinyl art.

Big Country – The Artist

Big Country are a Scottish rock band formed in Dunfermline, Fife, in 1981. The height of the band’s popularity was in the early to mid 1980s, although they still retain a cult following. The band’s music incorporated Scottish folk and martial music styles, and the band engineered their guitar-driven sound to evoke the sound of bagpipes, fiddles and other traditional folk instruments. Big Country originally comprised of Stuart Adamson (formerly of Skids, vocals/guitar/keyboards), Bruce Watson (guitar/mandolin/sitar/vocals), Tony Butler (bass guitar/vocals) and Mark Brzezicki (drums/percussion/vocals).

King of Emotion – The Song

‘King of Emotion’ is a song by Scottish rock band Big Country, released in 1988 as the lead single from their fourth studio album Peace in Our Time. It was written by Stuart Adamson and produced by Peter Wolf. “King of Emotion” reached No. 16 in the UK Charts. Unlike many of their bagpipe sounding guitars sounds this is much rockier and according to Stuart Adamson the song is influenced by the Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women”.

The Swallow Bird – The Shape

Modelled into two swallow birds in flight. Swallows are small birds, with pointed narrow wings, short bills, and small weak feet; some species have forked tails. Plumage may be plain or marked with metallic blue or green; the sexes look alike in most species. Swallows are very agile and spend much time in the air, capturing insects. For nesting, swallows may use a hole or cranny in a tree, burrow into a sandbank, or plaster mud onto a wall or ledge to house three to seven white, sometimes speckled, eggs. Swallows occur worldwide except in the coldest regions and remotest islands.
