Additional information about this, Bob Dylan vinyl art.

Bob Dylan – The Artist

Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter, author, and visual artist who has been a major figure in popular culture for six decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” (1963) and “The Times They Are a-Changin'” (1964) became anthems for the Civil Rights Movement and anti-war movement. His lyrics incorporated a wide range of political, social, philosophical, and literary influences, defied existing conventions of popular music, and appealed to the burgeoning counterculture, such as on the six-minute single “Like a Rolling Stone” (1965).

Lay Lady Lay – The Song

“Lay Lady Lay” is a song written by Bob Dylan and originally released in 1969 on his Nashville Skyline album. Like many of the tracks on the album, Dylan sings the song in a low croon, rather than in the high nasal singing style associated with his earlier (and eventually later) recordings. The song has become a standard and has been covered by numerous bands and artists over the years, including the Byrds, the Everly Brothers, the Isley Brothers, and Duran Duran. “Lay Lady Lay” was originally written for the soundtrack of the movie Midnight Cowboy, but wasn’t submitted in time to be included in the finished film.

Bob Dylan – The Shape

This record has been reworked into a silhouette of Bob Dylan based On Milton Glaser’s iconic design. Milton Glaser a New York graphic designer, designed the well-known poster, copies of which were included in slipcovers of Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits album when it was released.
