Additional information about this Heaven 17 vinyl art.

Heaven 17 – The Artist

Heaven 17 are an English new wave and synth-pop band that formed in Sheffield in 1980. The band were a trio for most of their career, composed of Martyn Ware (keyboards), Ian Craig Marsh (keyboards) (both previously of the Human League) and Glenn Gregory (vocals). Although most of the band’s music was recorded in the 1980s, they have occasionally reformed to record and perform, playing their first ever live concerts in 1997. Marsh left the band in 2007 and Ware and Gregory continued to perform as Heaven 17.

Play to Win – The Song

Play To Win  is a song written and recorded by the English Syth-pop band Heaven 17. It was a single taken from their first album, ‘Penthouse and Pavements’.

Video Game Controller – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a video game controller handset. The Video game controller is a device that enables a player to control their character or device within a video game. They have evolved over the years but usually consist of a series of buttons that are programmed to access various moves or features. They have replaced the original video game joystick. This particular controller more closely resembles that of the Microsoft X-Box Controller.
