An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the hit single by The Lambrettas, from 1980, Poison Ivy. Released on the Rocket record label, in the UK, this single has been reworked into the shape of a vintage scooter (Lambretta / Vespa).
The Lambrettas were named after the iconic Italian Lambretta scooter brand popular among Mods. Poison Ivy was their biggest hit, which reached number 7 in the UK Singles Chart. Poison Ivy was a cover version of the 1950s Leiber and Stoller song of the same name.
