The Tornados – The Artist/s

The Tornados were an English instrumental group of the 1960s that acted as backing group for many of record producer Joe Meek’s productions and also for singer Billy Fury. 

The Robot – The Song

The Robot is a song written by Joe Meek and performed by the English Instrumental group, The Tornadoes. The B side was called ‘Life on Venus. 

The Robot – The Shape

This record has been crafted into a Fictional robot. The Robot, was a fictional character in the television series. Although a machine endowed with superhuman strength and futuristic weaponry, he often displayed human characteristics, such as laughter, sadness, and mockery as well as singing and playing the guitar. The TV Series Lost in Space is an American science fiction television series created and produced by Irwin Allen. The series follows the adventures of a pioneering family of space colonists, aided by a Robot. They struggle to survive in a strange and often hostile universe after their ship is sabotaged and thrown off course. The show ran for three seasons, with 83 episodes airing between 1965 and 1968.
