An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring ‘Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going To Be A Long Long Time)’ by Elton John. Released on the DJM record label in 1972, this vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of  a space rocket.

This particular space craft has been modelled on a similar space rocket that features in the May 2017 video by Iranian filmmaker and refugee Majid Adin who reimagines ‘Rocket Man’ to tell a whole new story of adventure, loneliness and hope.  The video was produced for The Cut, (supported by YouTube), which invited filmmakers to create the first official music videos for three of Elton John’s most famous songs.

The song is also currently featuring on the Samsung Gear VR “Ostrich” Commercial.
