An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1974 hit, Bachman-Turner Overdrive by Canadian rock band Roll On Down The Highway. The vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of an American highway sign.

Roll on Down the Highway was written by, Fred Turner and Robbie Bachman, members of the Canadian rock group Bachman–Turner Overdrive (BTO) for their 1974 album Not Fragile. Turner and Randy Bachman had originally been contracted by Ford, the car company, to write a song for their car commercials, but Ford never picked up any of their compositions. The song was the second of two singles issued from the Not Fragile LP, and was the follow-up to the group’s greatest hit, You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.
