An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1979 record, Roxanne by The Police. Released on the A&M record label this vinyl single has been reworked into the silhouette of a sexy dress. The idea taken from the lyrics, Roxanne you don’t have to wear that dress tonight.

Roxanne was written by lead singer and bassist Sting, and was taken from their debut album Outlandos d’Amour. It was written from the point of view of a man who falls in love with a prostitute.
