Additional information about this, Connie Francis vinyl art.

Connie Francis – The Artist

Connie Francis (born Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero; 1938) is an American pop singer, former actress, and top-charting female vocalist of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Although her chart success waned in the second half of the 1960s, Francis remained a top concert draw. Despite several severe interruptions in her career, she is still active as a recording and performing artist.

Cupid Stupid – The Song

“Cupid Stupid” is a song written by Howard Greenfield and Neil Sedaka which became a hit for American, Connie Francis in 1958. It was released as a double a-sided single with ‘Carolina Moon’ on the other side.

Cupid – The Shape

This record had been modelled into Cupid holding a heart. In classical mythology, Cupid is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. He is often portrayed as the son of the love goddess Venus and the war god Mars. He is also known in Latin as Amor (“Love”). His Greek counterpart is Eros. Although Eros is generally portrayed as a slender winged youth in Classical Greek art, during the Hellenistic period, he was increasingly portrayed as a chubby boy. During this time, his iconography acquired the bow and arrow that represent his source of power: a person, or even a deity, who is shot by Cupid’s arrow is filled with uncontrollable desire.
