Additional information about this, Bobby Hebb vinyl art.

Bobby Hebb – The Artist

Robert Von “Bobby” Hebb (1938 ‒  2010) was an American R&B/soul singer, musician, songwriter, recording artist, and performer known for his 1966 hit entitled “Sunny”. Hebb was born in Nashville, Tennessee. His parents, William and Ovalla Hebb, were both blind musicians. Hebb and older brother, Harold Hebb, performed as a song-and-dance team in Nashville beginning when Bobby was three and Harold was nine.

Sunny – The Song

“Sunny” is a soul jazz song written by Bobby Hebb in 1963. It is one of the most performed and recorded popular songs, with hundreds of versions released. BMI rates “Sunny” number 25 in its “Top 100 songs of the century”. The song is also known by its first line: “Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain”. Events influenced Hebb’s songwriting, but his melody, crossing over into R&B and Pop, together with the optimistic lyrics, came from the artist’s desire to express that one should always “look at the bright side”; a direct quote from the author. Hebb has said about “Sunny”: “All my intentions were to think of happier times and pay tribute to my brother – basically looking for a brighter day – because times were at a low.

The Sun – The Shape

This Bobby Hebb record has been modelled into a silhouette a blazing sun. The Sun is the star at the centre of the Solar System. It is a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma, with internal convective motion that generates a magnetic field via a dynamo process. It is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. Its diameter is about 1.39 million kilometres, i.e. 109 times that of Earth, and its mass is about 330,000 times that of Earth, accounting for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System. About three quarters of the Sun’s mass consists of hydrogen; the rest is mostly helium, with much smaller quantities of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon, and iron.
