Additional information about this, The Proclaimers vinyl art.

The Proclaimers – The Artist

The Proclaimers are a Scottish music duo composed of twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid (born 5 March 1962). They are best known for their songs “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Sunshine on Leith”, “I’m On My Way” and “Letter from America”, and their singing style with a Scottish accent. The band tours extensively throughout the world. They have released 11 studio albums since 1987.

Sunshine On Leith – The Song

Sunshine On Leith  is a 1988 song written by and performed by the Proclaimers. It was taken from their second studio album of the same name. The album title is about their birthplace Leith, a district in the north of Edinburgh. The song, Sunshine On Leith, has also been adopted by the fans of Hibernian F.C., the football club based in Leith.

The Football / Soccer Shirt – The Shape

In association football, kit (also referred to as a strip or uniform) is the standard equipment and attire worn by players. Footballers generally wear identifying numbers on the backs of their shirts. Originally a team of players wore numbers from 1 to 11, corresponding roughly to their playing positions, but at the professional level this has generally been superseded by squad numbering, whereby each player in a squad is allocated a fixed number for the duration of a season. Professional clubs also usually display players’ surnames or nicknames on their shirts, above their squad numbers. Football kit has evolved significantly since the early days of the sport and advances in clothing manufacture and printing allowed shirts to be made in lighter synthetic fibres with increasingly colourful and complex designs. With the rise of advertising in the 20th century, sponsors’ logos began to appear on shirts, and replica strips were made available for fans to purchase, generating significant amounts of revenue for clubs.

Hibernian Football Club, commonly known as Hibs, is a professional football club based in the Leith area of Edinburgh, Scotland. The club plays in the Scottish Premiership, the top tier of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), finishing 5th in the 2018–19 season. The club was founded in 1875 by members of Edinburgh’s Irish community, and named after the Roman word for Ireland. Nowadays, whilst the Irish heritage of Hibernian is still reflected in the name, colours and badge, support for the club is now based more on geography than ethnicity or religion. Home matches are played at Easter Road Stadium, which has been in use since 1893 when the club joined the Scottish Football League.
