An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of  The Living Daylights from 1987, by the Norwegian pop group A-Ha. This vinyl single has been reworked into a Walther PPK , German pistol, the pistol issued and favoured by James Bond of the period.

Written and recorded as the theme for the 1987 James Bond (007) movie of the same name. Staring Timothy Dalton as James Bond the song, The Living Daylights became one of the band’s biggest hits. Written by John Barry and guitarist Pål Waaktaar.  John Barry was listed on the credits as co-writer and producer, and the initial release of the song was his version. A second version of the song, re-worked by A-Ha was also released on their album, Stay On These Roads. The general conception is that, this, the first version was the best.
