An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the song by Mike & The Mechanics from 1988, The Living Years. The record was released on the WEA record label, in the UK, and has been reworked into the shape of an hourglass as depicted on the record sleeve.
Mike And The Mechanics are an English pop/rock supergroup formed in 1985 as a side project of Mike Rutherford, one of the founding members of the band Genesis. The Living Years was written by Mike Rutherford and Scottish singer/writer/composer B. A. Robertson.
