Additional information about this Jennifer Rush vinyl art.

Jennifer Rush – The Artist

Jennifer Rush (born Heidi Stern, 1960) is an American singer and songwriter. Rush achieved success during the mid-1980s around the world, with the release of a number of singles and albums including the million-selling single “The Power of Love”, which she co-wrote and released in 1984. She saw her greatest success in Europe, particularly Germany. She scored hits as a singer throughout Europe, Africa and Asia with songs like “Ring of Ice,” “Destiny,” “I Come Undone,” “Madonna’s Eyes,” “Flames of Paradise” (a duet with Elton John), “25 Lovers,” “Till I Loved You” (a duet with Plácido Domingo), “Heart Over Mind”, “You’re My One and Only,” “Who Wants to Live Forever” (a duet with Brian May from Queen), and “Amigos Para Siempre” (a duet with José Carreras).

The Power of Love (Remix)- The Song

The Power of Love (Remix) is a song co-written and originally recorded by American singer Jennifer Rush in 1984. It has been covered by several artists, most notably by Air Supply, Laura Branigan and Celine Dion. Recorded in Frankfurt, Germany (where Rush is based) and released in West Germany without much success in late 1984, Rush’s original version reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in October 1985 and subsequently became the biggest-selling single of the year in the UK as Rush became the first female artist ever to have a million-selling single in the UK—it became the ninth best-selling single of the decade. It also topped the charts in several other European countries, as well as Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The Power Station – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a power station pumping out a heart shaped cloud from its chimney. A power station, also referred to as a power plant and sometimes generating station or generating plant, is an industrial facility for the generation of electric power. Power stations are generally connected to an electrical grid. Many power stations contain one or more generators, a rotating machine that converts mechanical power into three-phase electric power. The relative motion between a magnetic field and a conductor creates an electric current. The energy source harnessed to turn the generator varies widely. Most power stations in the world burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas to generate electricity. Clean energy sources include nuclear power, and an increasing use of renewables such as solar, wind, wave, geothermal, and hydroelectric.
