An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1987 hit, With Or Without You by Irish rock band U2. Released on the Island record label, this vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of a loving heart.
The lyrics of With Or Without You ostensibly describe a troubled relationship between two lovers, although the lyrics have been interpreted in religious contexts. Some say it can be read as a song about either marital romance or spiritual need. lead singer Bono explained that the lyrics had romantic intentions, saying, “there’s nothing more revolutionary than two people loving each other.”
