Real Thing – The Band

The Real Thing are a British soul group formed in the 1970s. In addition to a string of British hits, the band charted internationally with their song “You to Me Are Everything”, which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, By number of sales, they were the most successful black rock/soul act in England during the 1970s.

Can You Feel The Force? – The Song

Can You Feel The Force?  is a song by British soul group the Real Thing, released as a single in February 1979. It was written by band members Chris Amoo and his brother Eddie Amoo, and produced by Ken Gold for Tony Hall Productions and mastered at Sterling Sound. The song was the group’s biggest disco hit, reaching number five in the UK Singles Chart and spending 11 weeks in the top 75, and also charting in a number of other countries. In 1986 the song was remixed by Bob Mallett and charted again in the UK and Ireland.

Yoda is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas, first appearing in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. In the original films, he trains Luke Skywalker to fight against the Galactic Empire by teaching him to learn the ways of the force. In the prequel films, he serves as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order and as a high-ranking general of Clone Troopers in the Clone Wars.
