An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the Neil Diamond single from 1970, Cracklin’ Rosie. Released on the Universal City record label, this pop rock classic has been reworked into a Tudor Rose.

Cracklin’ Rosie was written by American singer-songwriter, Neil Diamond and was his breakthrough hit, popular across the globe. The lyrics suggested to some a devotion to a woman of the night but in actuality, Cracklin’ Rosie is a type of wine. The title has also been interpreted to be a misspelling of a rosé wine which is “crackling” – a U.S. term equivalent to pétillant or lightly sparkling. Many Diamond fans believed the crackling wine he was referring to was Sparkling Mateus Rose, which was popular during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
