Additional information about this, Mötley Crüe vinyl art.

Mötley Crüe – The Artist/s

Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. The members of Mötley Crüe have often been noted for their hedonistic lifestyles and the androgynous personae they maintained. Following the hard rock and heavy metal origins on the band’s first two albums, Too Fast for Love (1981) and Shout at the Devil (1983), the release of its third album Theatre of Pain (1985) saw Mötley Crüe joining the first wave of glam metal. The band has also been known for their elaborate live performances, which feature flame thrower guitars, roller coaster drum kits, and heavy use of pyrotechnics (fireworks).

Dr. Feelgood – The Song

“Dr. Feelgood”  is a song by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. It was written by lead guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Nikki Sixx. It was taken from their fifth studio album. In addition to being Mötley Crüe’s best selling album, it is highly regarded by music critics and fans as the band’s best studio album.

The Mötley Crüe Dagger and Serpent Logo – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a stylised serpent and dagger similar to the image on the picture sleeve of their best selling album Dr. Feelgood. The serpent, or snake, is one of the oldest and most widespread mythological symbols. The word is derived from Latin serpens, a crawling animal or snake. Snakes have been associated with some of the oldest rituals known to mankind and represent dual expression of good and evil. A dagger is a fighting knife with a very sharp point and usually two sharp edges, typically designed or capable of being used as a thrusting or stabbing weapon. Daggers have been used throughout human history for close combat confrontations, and many cultures have used adorned daggers in ritual and ceremonial contexts. The distinctive shape and historic usage of the dagger have made it iconic and symbolic.
