Additional information about this, Benny Hill vinyl art.

Benny Hill – The Artist

Alfred Hawthorne “Benny” Hill (1924 – 1992) was an English comedian, actor, singer and writer, best remembered for his television programme The Benny Hill Show, an amalgam of slapstick, burlesque, and double entendre in a format that included live comedy and filmed segments, with Hill at the focus of almost every segment. Hill was a prominent figure in British culture for nearly four decades. His show proved to be one of the great success stories of television comedy and was among the most-watched programmes in the UK with the audience peaking at more than 21 million in 1971. The Benny Hill Show was also exported to half the countries around the world.

Gather In The Mushrooms – The Song

‘Gather In The Mushrooms’ is an innuendo-laden comedy or novelty song, written and performed by the English comedian Benny Hill. The song was released by Pye Records in 1961, under the production of Tony Hatch. It reached #12 on the UK Singles Chart. Lyrically the song tells the story of farm girl Lucy who worked on a farm and her relationship with the farmer.

The Mushroom   – The Shape

This record has been modelled into spotted mushroom.  A mushroom or toadstool is the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground, on soil, or on its food source. The standard for the name “mushroom” is the cultivated white button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus; hence the word “mushroom” is most often applied to those fungi that have a stem, a cap, and gills on the underside of the cap. “Mushroom” also describes a variety of other gilled fungi, with or without stems, therefore the term is used to describe the fleshy fruiting bodies of some Ascomycota. These gills produce microscopic spores that help the fungus spread across the ground or its occupant surface.
