Additional information about this Elton John vinyl art.

Elton John – The Artist

Sir Elton Hercules John CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight) is an English singer, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin as his songwriting partner since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums to date. In his five-decade career Elton John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world. He has also composed music, produced records, and has occasionally acted in films.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – The Song

Goodbye The Yellow Brick Road is a ballad written by English musician Elton John and songwriter Bernie Taupin, and performed by John. It is the title track on John’s album of the same name. The titular road is a reference to L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz film and book series. The song has been widely praised by critics; some consider it a strong contender for John’s finest song ever.

The Grand Piano – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a grand piano as played by Elton John.  The piano is an acoustic, stringed musical instrument invented in Italy by Bartolomeo Cristofori around the year 1700 (the exact year is uncertain), in which the strings are struck by hammers. It is played using a keyboard,[1] which is a row of keys (small levers) that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands to cause the hammers to strike the strings.
