An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the Rod Stewart single, Handbags And Gladrags which was the b-side of It’s All Over  Now from 1970. The vinyl record has been reworked into a fashionable ladies handbag.

Handbags and Gladrags was originally written by Mike d’Abo, who was then the lead singer of Manfred Mann. D’Abo describes the song as “saying to a teenage girl that the way to happiness is not through being trendy. There are deeper values.”
