Additional information about this Whitney Houston vinyl art.

Whitney Houston – The Artist

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (1963 – 2012) was an American singer and actress. She was cited as the most awarded female artist of all time by Guinness World Records and remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) – The Song

I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)  is the first single from Whitney Houston’s second studio album, Whitney. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden, and written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam of the band Boy Meets Girl, who had previously written the number-one Whitney Houston hit “How Will I Know.” The song is about somebody single wishing that they could find that special person for themselves. It meant more than just dancing but more about dancing through life with somebody special.

Dancers – The Shape

Dance is a performing art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement. This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture. Dance can be categorised and described by its choreography, by its repertoire of movements, or by its historical period or place of origin.
