An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1979 record, Message In A Bottle by The Police. Released on the A&M record label this vinyl single has been reworked into the silhouette of bottles floating in the sea.

Message in a Bottle was written by Sting from the English pop rock band The Police. It was released as the lead single from their second studio album, Reggatta de Blanc. The song is about a story of a castaway on an island, who sends out a message in a bottle to seek love. A year later, he has not received any sort of response, and despairs, thinking he is destined to be alone. The next day, he sees “a hundred billion bottles” on the shore, finding out that there are more people like him out there.
