Ludwig van Beethoven- The Artist

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827) was a German composer and pianist. A crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in classical music, he remains one of the most recognised and influential of all composers.  His best-known compositions include 9 symphonies; 5 piano concertos; 1 violin concerto; 32 piano sonatas; 16 string quartets; a mass, the Missa solemnis; and an opera, Fidelio.

Moonlight Sonata – The Song

The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor “Quasi una fantasia”, Op. 27, No. 2, popularly known as the Moonlight Sonata, is a piano sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. It was completed in 1801 and dedicated in 1802 to his pupil, Countess Giulietta Guicciardi. The piece is one of Beethoven’s most popular compositions for the piano, and it was a popular favorite even in his own day. On this particular ep the piano is played by Geza Anda.

The release date of this record  is unknown.

Miner Willy – The Shape

Jet Set Willy is a platform video game originally written by Matthew Smith for the ZX Spectrum home computer. It was published in 1984 by Software Projects and ported to most home computers of the time. The game is a sequel to Manic Miner published in 1983, and the second game in the Miner Willy series. According to many it was a significant development in the platform game genre on the home computer. The opening music or title screen music is the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven and converted for the game by Steve Wetherall.  The in-game music for the original Spectrum version of Jet Set Willy was “If I Were A Rich Man” from the movie “Fiddler on the Roof”.
