Rick Astley – The Artists

Richard Paul Astley (born 1966) is an English singer, songwriter and radio personality. His 1987 song “Never Gonna Give You Up” was a number 1 hit single in 25 countries and won the 1988 Brit Award for Best British Single. By the time of his retirement in 1993, Astley had sold approximately 40 million records worldwide.

Never Gonna Give You Up – The Song

Never Gonna Give You Up is a song recorded by British singer and songwriter Rick Astley, released as a single in July 1987. It was written and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. The song was released as the first single from Astley’s debut album, Whenever You Need Somebody(1987). The song was a worldwide number-one hit, initially in the singer’s native United Kingdom in 1987, where it stayed at the top of the chart for five weeks and was the best-selling single of that year. It eventually topped the charts in 25 countries, including the United States and West Germany.

Boxer Dog – The Shape

Modelled into a Boxer Dog. The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired breed of dog, developed in Germany. The coat is smooth and tight-fitting; colors are fawn brindled or white, with or without white markings. Boxers are brachycephalic (they have broad, short skulls), have a square muzzle, mandibular prognathism (an underbite), very strong jaws, and a powerful bite ideal for hanging on to large prey. The Boxer was bred from the Old English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser which became extinct by crossbreeding rather than by a decadence of the breed. The purpose of the crossbreeding was the wish to eliminate the excessive white color of the breed, and the necessity of producing thousands of dogs for one of the most popular breeds in the world. The Boxer is part of the Molosser group. This group is a category of solidly built, large dog breeds that all descend from the same common ancestor, the large shepherd dog known as a Molossus. The Boxer is a member of the Working Group.
