Additional information about this, Queen vinyl art.

Queen – The Artist

Queen are a British rock band that formed in London in 1970. Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar). Queen’s earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock, into their music.

Play The Game – The Song

‘Play The Game’ is a song by British rock band Queen, written by Freddie Mercury. It is the first track on the first side of their 1980 album The Game. It also appears on their Greatest Hits album. The single was a hit in the UK, reaching #14 in the charts. The song commences with a series of overlapping rushing noises on synthesiser, heralding the band’s acceptance of electronic instruments into their once explicitly “no synths” sonic repertoire. The picture cover of the single, as well as its promotional video marked the first time Mercury appeared in either format with what later became his trademark moustache.

Video Game Controller – The Shape

The Video game controller is a device that enables a player to control their character or device within a video game. They have evolved over the years but usually consist of a series of buttons that are programmed to access various moves or features. They have replaced the original video game joystick. This particular controller more closely resembles that of the Nintendo Controller.  Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company headquartered in Kyoto. The company was founded in 1889 as Nintendo Karuta by craftsman Fusajiro Yamauchi and originally produced handmade hanafuda playing cards. After venturing into various lines of business during the 1960s and acquiring a legal status as a public company under the current company name, Nintendo distributed its first video game console, the Color TV-Game, in 1977. It gained international recognition with the release of the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985.
