An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of The Riders On The Storm from 1971, by American Psychedelic rock band, The Doors. Released on the Elektra record label, this vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of lead singer Jim Morrison.

Riders on the Storm is a psychedelic rock song taken from their sixth studio album, L.A. Woman. According to band member Robby Krieger it was inspired by the song (Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend. Though, Jim Morrison had mentioned spree killer Billy Cook during various interviews and it is believed that the Cook murders were inspiration for some of the song’s lyrics.
