An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the rockabilly single by the Stray Cats from 1981, ‘Rock This Town’. The record was released on the Arista record label, in the UK, and has been reworked into the shape of the familiar Stray Cats logo cat.
This famous Stray Cats image can be modelled onto almost any other Stray Cat Single, including ‘Stray Cat Strut’, ‘Runaway Boys’ or ‘(She’s) Sexy +17’ please stipulate when ordering. Please note due to the limitations of the vinyl the cats facial whiskers are artistically penned on, rather than cut from vinyl.
Stray Cats were an American rockabilly band formed by guitarist and vocalist Brian Setzer, double bassist Lee Rocker, and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York. The group had numerous hit singles in the UK, Australia, Canada and the U.S. including ‘Stray Cat Strut’.
