Additional information about this, Aretha Franklin vinyl art.

Aretha Franklin – The Artist

Aretha Louise Franklin (1942 – 2018) was an American singer, songwriter, civil rights activist, actress, and pianist. Franklin began her career as a child singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan where her father C. L. Franklin was minister. At age 18, she embarked on a secular career recording for Columbia Records. However, she achieved only modest success. Franklin found acclaim and commercial success after signing with Atlantic Records in 1966. Hit songs such as “Respect”, “Chain of Fools”, “Think”, “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)”, and “I Say a Little Prayer”, propelled Franklin past her musical peers. By the end of the 1960s, Aretha Franklin had come to be known as “The Queen of Soul”.

I Say a Little Prayer – The Song

I Say a Little Prayer  is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David for Dionne Warwick in 1966. Aretha Franklin recorded it in 1968 after singing it for fun with her backing vocalists, The Sweet Inspirations while rehearsing songs intended for her album, Aretha Now. It was re-invented from Warwick’s original hit via the use of Clayton Ivey’s piano work and it went on to be a popular worldwide.

Praying – The Shape

Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship, typically a deity, through deliberate communication. In the narrow sense, the term refers to an act of supplication or intercession directed towards a deity, or a deified ancestor. More generally, prayer can also have the purpose of thanksgiving or praise, and in comparative religion is closely associated with more abstract forms of meditation and with charms or spells.
