Additional information about this Elton John vinyl art.

Elton John – The Artist

Sir Elton Hercules John CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight) is an English singer, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin as his songwriting partner since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums to date. In his five-decade career Elton John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world. He has also composed music, produced records, and has occasionally acted in films.

Screw You – The Song

Screw You is a song performed by musician Elton John. Lyrics for the song were written by Bernie Taupin, and the music was composed by Elton John. It was released as the b-side of his single ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.’ The US release of ‘Screw You’ was  re-titled to “Young Man’s Blues” so that it would not offend American record buyers.

The Round Headed Screw – The Shape

This record has been crafted into a craftsmen’s round headed screw. A screw is a type of fastener typically made of metal and characterised by a helical ridge, called a male thread (external thread). Screws are used to fasten materials by the engagement of the screw thread with a similar female thread (internal thread) in the matching part. Screws are often self-threading (also known as self-tapping) where the thread cuts into the material when the screw is turned, creating an internal thread that helps pull fastened materials together and prevents pull-out. There are many screws for a variety of materials; materials commonly fastened by screws include wood, sheet metal, and plastic. Screws can have a variety of heads such as counter sunk or rounded.
