Daniel Boone – The Artist

Daniel Boone (born Peter Charles Green; 1942 – 2023) was an English pop musician who became a one-hit wonder with the single “Beautiful Sunday” in 1972. The song was written by Boone and Rod McQueen and sold over 2,000,000 copies worldwide. It has also become a popular song among fans of Scottish football club Dundee United. Boone was known to be a lifelong Dundee United fan, and tried to invest in the club on several occasions. Boone and McQueen also wrote “Blue Is The Colour”, the football anthem for Chelsea.

Skydiver – The Song

‘Skydiver’ is a single by the English pop muscian Daniel Boone. The song was written by Boone and Rod McQueen. Skydiver is a captivating song that carries an underlying message of freedom and living life to the fullest. The lyrics evoke a sense of fearless adventure and the desire to soar above limitations. The song tells the story of an individual who is ready to take a leap of faith, embracing the unknown with open arms. The lyrics depict the journey of a  skydiver, capturing the exhilarating experience of diving through the air. It serves as a metaphor for breaking free from the constraints of everyday life and embracing risk and excitement. The song encourages listeners to step outside of their comfort zones and explore the uncharted territories that lie ahead. Daniel Boone drew inspiration for the song from his own experiences as a  skydiver. He wanted to convey the thrill and sense of freedom that comes with embracing such an adventurous activity.

The Skydiver – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a silhouette a free-falling skydiver. Parachuting and skydiving is a method of transiting from a high point in an atmosphere to the ground or ocean surface with the aid of gravity, involving the control of speed during the descent using a parachute or parachutes. For human skydiving, it may involve a phase of more or less free-falling (the skydiving segment) which is a period when the parachute has not yet been deployed and the body gradually accelerates to terminal velocity.
