Tom Jones – The Artist
Sir Thomas John Woodward OBE (born 7 June 1940), known professionally as Tom Jones, is a Welsh singer. His career has spanned six decades, from his emergence as a vocalist in the mid-1960s with a string of top hits. Jones’s powerful voice has been described as a “full-throated, robust baritone” and his performing range has included pop, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel.
Jones has sold over 100 million records with, including “It’s Not Unusual”, “What’s New Pussycat”, “Delilah”, “Green, Green Grass of Home“, “She’s a Lady”, “Kiss”, and “Sex Bomb”.
Somethin’ ‘Bout You Baby I Like- The Song
‘Somethin’ ‘Bout You Baby I Like’, is a popular song written by guitarist Richard Supa in the early 1970s. The song was covered by many artists including this version by Tom Jones. Other versions were done by Glen Campbell and Rita Coolidge reached in 1980 and Status Quo in 1981.
