An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of Sweet Sixteen from 1987, by Billy Idol. Released on the Chrysalis record label, this vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of the distinctive silver cross often worn by Billy Idol.

Sweet Sixteen was written British singer-songwriter Billy Idol and was released as the third single from his third studio album Whiplash Smile.  Sweet Sixteen was inspired by the true story of Edward Leedskalnin, a Latvian emigrant who single-handedly built the Coral Castle in Florida. In Latvia, Leedskalnin was set to marry Agnes Scuffs, but she broke the engagement and Leedskalnin decided to emigrate to America. He built the Coral Castle there in dedication to Scuffs, who he often referred to as his Sweet Sixteen.
