The Loco-Motion – Kylie Minogue (1988)

An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of The Loco-Motion (Locomotion) from 1988, by Australian pop singer and actor Kylie Minogue. Released on the PWL record label, this vinyl single has been reworked into the silhouette of a locomotive / steam train with a heart shaped bell.

The Loco-Motion was written by  American songwriters Gerry Goffin and Carole King in 1962 for Dee Dee Sharp, who turned the song down. Kylie Minogue covered the song and released it as her first single. It was a worldwide hit and propelled her to international stardom.
