Additional information about this, Chas & Dave vinyl art.

Chas & Dave – The Artist/s

Chas & Dave (often billed as Chas ‘n’ Dave) were an English pop rock duo, formed in London by Chas Hodges and Dave Peacock. They were most notable as creators and performers of a musical style labelled rockney (a portmanteau of rock and cockney), which mixes “pub singalong, music-hall humour, boogie-woogie piano and pre-Beatles rock ‘n’ roll”. For a time, Rockney was also the name of their record label.

The Victory Song – The Song

The Victory Song”  also known as ‘The Victor Song (We’re Off To Wembley ‘Cos We Beat The Arsenal)” was written by Hodges and Peacock to celebrate Tottenham Hotspur going to Wembley after beating Arsenal in the semi final.  Tottenham Hotspur went on to win the 1991 FA Cup for a then-record eighth time, by beating Nottingham Forest 2–1 at Wembley in the 110th FA Cup Final.

The FA Cup Trophy – The Shape

This record has been modelled intot he FA Cup. The FA Cup, known officially as The Football Association Challenge Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men’s domestic English football.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, commonly referred to as Tottenham or Spurs, is an English professional football club in Tottenham, London, that competes in the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been the club’s home ground since April 2019, replacing their former home of White Hart Lane, which had been demolished to make way for the new stadium on the same site. Their training ground is on Hotspur Way in Bulls Cross in the London Borough of Enfield. The club is owned by ENIC Group. Tottenham have played in a first (home) strip of white shirts and navy blue shorts since the 1898–99 season. The club’s emblem is a cockerel standing upon a football, with a Latin motto Audere est Facere (“To Dare Is to Do”).
