An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the Birdie Song (Birdie Dance) by The Tweets single from 1981. Released on the PRT record label, this novelty pop song has been reworked into the shape of the Twitter social network logo.

The ‘Chicken Dance’, also known as the Birdie Song or the Chicken Song, is an oom-pah song and its associated fad dance is now a contemporary dance throughout the Western world. The song was originally composed by accordion player Werner Thomas from Davos, Switzerland, in the 1950s and rumoured to be a drinking song sung at Oktoberfest.
