An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45 rpm, 7” single of Born To Run byBruce Springsteen & The E Street Band from 1986 on the CBS record label. This vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of Bruce Springsteens’ favourite, vintage Fender electric guitar.

Born To Run was written and performed by American rock singer Bruce Springsteen. Written in the first person, the song, Born To Run is a love letter to a girl named Wendy, for whom the hot-rod-riding protagonist seems to possess the passion to love, just not the patience. However, Springsteen has noted that it has a much simpler core: getting out of Freehold, a borough of New Jersey.  This Live version was recorded at the Giants’ Stadium, New Jersey, USA on the 19th August 1985.
