Additional information about this Cliff Richard vinyl art.

Cliff Richard – The Artist

Sir Cliff Richard, OBE is a British pop singer, musician, performer, actor and philanthropist. Richard has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. He has total sales of over 21 million singles in the United Kingdom and is the third-top-selling artist in UK Singles Chart history, behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley. Cliff Richard was originally marketed as a rebellious rock and roll singer in the style of Little Richard[3] and Elvis Presley. With his backing group, The Shadows, Richard dominated the British popular music scene in the pre-Beatles period of the late 1950s to early 1960s.

Congratulations – The Song

Congratulations is a song written by Bill Martin and Phil Coulter, as the UK entry in the 1968 Eurovision Song Contest with Cliff Richard performing. The song was immediately popular in the UK and became a number one single. It finished second in the contest losing to Spain’s entry “La, la, la” by just one point, but was still a huge hit throughout Europe. The song is still popular today and was chosen to lead the show which recently celebrated 50 years of Eurovision and which was named after it: Congratulations.

Champagne- The Shape

Champagne is sparkling wine which comes from the Champagne region of France. This alcoholic drink is produced from grapes grown in the Champagne region of France. The grapes Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay are used in the production of almost all Champagne, but a tiny amount of pinot blanc, pinot gris, arbane, and petit meslier are vinified as well. Champagne became associated with royalty in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The leading manufacturers made efforts to associate their Champagnes with nobility and royalty through advertising and packaging, which led to popularity among the emerging middle class. Nowadays Champagne is often drunk in celebration and served in long stemmed champagne flutes.
